Our Products
Goniometers model G12 and G16 are ideal for contact angle measurements of any liquid drop on any solid surface. They allow measuring either static or dynamic contact angles.
Both goniomenters are compact and easily transportable. They get their power from a USB cable which can be connected to a desktop computer or a laptop so that the entire assembly of goniomenter and laptop can be hand carried.
Goniometer model G16 can be used independently or as part of the Centrifugal Adhesion Balance (CAB).
Goniometer model G12 cannot be used as part of the Centrifugal Adhesion Balance (CAB).

Centrifugal Adhesion Balance (CAB)

With the CAB one can make cutting edge direct measurements of the solid - liquid adhesion. This can be done in three ways which correspond to three types of adhesion:
1. Normal Adhesion;
2. Lateral Adhesion;
3. The interfacial modulus. This property describes the resistance of a solid substrate to conform to interactions with a given liquid. For example, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is used to increase penetrability of biological tissues, and indeed it reduces the interfacial modulus of such tissues. Another example, the interfacial modulus of graphene - water system is typically high.
